Game Maker Studio 2, 13 weeks, solo project

My main task for this project was to create a sense of fellowship (teamwork) and catharsis (emotional release) within a single-player 2D adventure platformer. I created this experience by combining characters, levels, and obstacles in a manner that requires the player to rely on NPCs just as those characters rely on the player. Each team member has their own specialty to bypass a different situation, and a brutal final boss fight brings the experience to an epic conclusion.
