As a part of Team Nitrous Rose, I used Playtest Reports to track the atoms of fun in the game and give my teammates useful feedback.
Playing the role of a UX designer on a large team was a very eye-opening experience. Iām not limited to testing gameplay, in fact I was able to direct lots of successful tests on Art, Audio, and User Interface. My primary focus is always to create the best overall play experience, and a lot of the time that comes from the art, music, or combat effects. This was a very useful project for me because I was able to share my specialized playtest reports with an entire cast of developers (19 total) instead of 3-4 close teammates.
